In the next few months till its release, all eyes are going to be on the Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone starrer Om Shanti Om. While Eros International has bought the worldwide rights of the film, Shree Ashtavinayak Cine Vision Ltd has now purchased the Mumbai territory rights except for Mumbai city and suburbs.
According to sources to the development, Shree Ashtavinayak Cine Vision Ltd has bought these rights for Rs 90 milliion (Rs 9 crores). It is pertinent to note here that Shree Ashtavinayak had entered into the big league of distributing Bollywood films in 2004 by purchasing the rights of Main Hoon Na for Rs 40 million (Rs 4 crores).
