Why Farah is more relaxed for OM SHANTI OM
admin July 17th, 2007
Ace choreographer and director, Farah Khan, is having more fun on the sets of OM SHANTI OM than she had when she made MAIN HOON NA.
Aside from the fun of it, there are two main reasons for Farah’s relaxed state of mind. One is the fact that she learned a lot from the making of MAIN HOON NA. As a first time director, she used to get very hyper and agitated whenever problems cropped up. This time around, she has a perspective and knows how important or otherwise a problem is and she can deal with it accordingly.
Secondly, OM SHANTI OM has, as part of its backdrop and settings, two things she is very familiar with. The film industry, which she knows inside out, and the decade of the ’70s, her growing up years, not that the movie is set entirely in the ’70s! In fact, it spans three decades.
