Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor fight and make up

While everyone considers them an item, Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor insist they are just friends. Whatever! They just had their first fight!The two did not talk to each other for a few days and almost called it quits! But, as always happens with couples, though necessarily with friends, they came around.

We think in the days ahead, as their careers pick up and the pressures mount, tiffs between them may well increase, especially if they continue to care about each other, as friends or whatever!

Their careers are sure picking up.

Deepika already has two films on hand, even before her debut film opposite Shah Rukh Khan, Om Shanti Om is released around Diwali this year – Priyadarshan’s Pirate, a comedy about a band of musicians that opposes piracy in the world of entertainment and Nikhil Advani’s thriller Mera Naam Chin Chin Choo opposite Akshay Kumar.

There have also been reports that Deepika will replace Priyanka Chopra in the Krrish sequel currently being scripted.

Ranbir too has films on hand before he makes his debut with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Saawariya, set for a Diwali release. The film incidentally brings together Ranbir with the amazing Zohra Sehgal, 95, who started her career with Ranbir’s great grandfather Prithiviraj Kapoor in Prithvi Theatres!

He will next appear in a Yash Raj Film to be directed by Siddharth Anand whose recent film Ta Ra Rum Pum barely scraped through at the Box Office.

Interestingly, Yash Raj had given Ranbir’s father Rishi Kapoor one of his finest films – Kabhi Kabhie.
